I like the movie Armageddon for several reasons:
ok, here it comes;
1. There were several locations in the movie, where they showed to make the audience see how the rest of the world was reacting to the approching end, one of that locationas were Turkey, my country.
2. I played in that scene as well!! I mean it, it was a quiet day and we were having snacks and beer, when an American guy and his translator came nearby. The man asked us to look up the sky, terrorized, and he would give us 20 dollars then. We agreed and they shot the scene, 7or8 months later we saw ourselves on the big screen and we were shocked!!!!
3. I like Burce Willis' acting, (not his personal ideas or most of his films) he is a solid actor and he is talented.
4. Steve Buscemi. I like his acting a lot, I remember him from Fargo and Big Lebowski, and he is a great actor.
5. No need to mention of visual effects, they are great.
6. Saved the best for last: LIV TYLER!!! oh my! :)

First of all Aerosmith.
Then Steve Tylers daughter, Liv Tyler.
Bruce Willis is a mgnificent actor, he is fantastic.
Steve Buscemi is great.
Billy Bob Thornton is one of my favourites.
Owen Wilson...
William Fichtner..
Unfortunately there is the Affleck factor.
Michael Bay is a great film maker.
The movie was very emotional, and it explored a very popular idea at the time, it was a very relevant film.
Loved it , except for Ben Affleck

I liked it not for the big rockets, not for the mushy love scenes, or for I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing.
I liked it because its an interesting view on how mankind would react to such a potential earth destroying event. personally, i don't think it was right - in the film everyone was calm, it would be all out chaos. thats just my opinion. but then, the film was the filmmakers opinion. great film
oh, and i also liked it for steve buscemi's performance (top notch) and the ever lovely liv tyler

Love Bruce Willis! Don't know him personally; but God!, does he do something to me!
It had a bit of everything in it; Laughter, love, sadness and even a little singing thrown in! Plus Arrow smith's Don't Wanna Miss A Thing just wrapped it up for me.

It's the song "I don't wanna close my eyes, don't wanna fall asleep..." who can fail to love that when accompanied by the hotties in the film? Also, Owen Wilson's role is vastly underated. AND, I love the fact that when they return they don't have to pay taxes - ever.
