I'm moving into a dorm for the first time next week and I already have most of the basics, Sheets, Storage, Some cleaning supplies. But does anyone know something I might be missing or will really help me out when I get there?

Mattress Protector, those things get re-used over and over and over.... Also pays to get a small refrigerator to put cokes and little snacks in like yogurt so you haven't gotta get ripped by the coin-op machines or walk all the way to the dining hall.
If you are gonna keep money valuables, I would also recommend a small safe under your bed, like the $30 ones. You can keep your money, checkbook and ID cards and stuff in there when you don't need them and not fear having them stolen. I had my wallet stolen like 4 times at school. Make sure you have a laundry bag and a good robe, some dorms are semi-coed and the showers are WAY down the hall...

I would have an emergency cash stash. I kept mine hidden just in case. You never know what will come up, not to mention, you may get there and realize that what you thought would work one way, doesn't.

duct tape, safety pins/clothes pins, shower shoes.

Those are all things I discovered I needed but didn't think of at first.
