I have experienced VBAC. I have 3 kids and only the first was an emergency csection. If given the choice again I would rather have the baby natural because its less risky and shorter healing time.

I haven't had a VBAC myself because I've only had one baby. I did talk to my OB about it before my c-section. He asked me why I wanted one. I thought every woman would want to experience childbirth the way nature intended it. But now after talking with other women that have had both, they all agreed that they prefer the c-section. Not just because they didn't have to go through labor, but because they all thought recovery was easier too. I now look at it like if I nurture a baby in my womb for 9 months, what does it matter how it comes out. Congratulations and good luck with your baby.

My son was an emergency c-section at 29 weeks, and just last month I lost baby girl at 21 weeks, and had a natural birth because she was so tiny. I was planning on another c-section close to my due date, mostly because a friend of mine lost a full-term baby girl due to uterine rupture. She was alive when she was born, but due to the lack of oxygen she was severely brain damaged and only lived a few days.
