In my previous question, I asked the same question asked by a man. He was told to tell his wife NO. I was told by most that I am a bad mother. Great sociological study.

My husband moved out and now wants my help with the kids. I refuse. Dispicable?
My husband moved out and immediately got involved with someone else. He now has two or three more women he runs with. He has a closing next month on a merger and wants me to keep the kids. He has them most of the time. I see them every other weekend because he threatened to take them away all together. I have a life now (after doing so much to have him move back that it is embarassing to say.) I don't want to help him and want to stick to the schedule. He and his mother say that I am a bad mother. What do you think? Thanks.

My recommendation is don't punish the kids for what the ex-husband did. If he asked you to watch the kids while he runs on his rounds, whether at work or at the club, then you should think about the kids, and let him know that. In my opinion, I say you should take the kids so you can get a closer relationship with your kids. This can also eliminate any notions that the kids may have about you negatively.(Mom don't want us, mom don't care.)
But try to let your ex know that this is not to be an every time I feel like dropping of the kids event. You have your life to take care of as well.

In reading your previous question and this, I would say u are both bad parents...period. U and the husband are passing the kids back and forth like a ping pong ball and the only victims here are the kids because of stupid adults who want nothing to do with them because of their personal vendetta against each other.

I did not answer your last question as i was otherwise engaged in doing the kids T.I have read this question however, and do not think you are a bad mother-you only had a bad husband who is now showing his true colours-a complete dork. You stand your ground and do not give in to intimidation.

I don't believe that sticking up for our own kind is sexist, anymore than being proud of being white is racist. I have lots of colored friends, and Indian and a few Oriental. They are proud of their races, and so am I. I don't put others down, and I don't say, "White is best!" I just don't think it's fair that people can say "Black power!" and not be called racist, but if I say, "White power!" I am? How about "Yeah! People Power!" and we all just get along? I knew someone who a while ago was telling everyone I was a racist. One day she came to me and said, "I'm sorry, I'm the one who was being racist, because I just imagined that you didn't like me, for who knows what reason!" I told her, "I don't even hardly know you, how can I make judgments about someone I hardly know! " Now we are friends. Alot of people do that, they give opinions/make judgments about things they don't know/understand. Men don't understand women, and vise-versa! OH! We are such a helpless world!

You are not thinking of the children. You are hurt, angry and thinking of yourself.
You are being passive agressive and hurting your kids as well as that evil bastard who fathered them.
Choose the only course that benifits the kids even if it inadvertently benifits him.
