This pesty bastard is trying to bury nuts undernearth our new sod. The sod since it is fairly new, hasn't seem to lay down deep roots with the sub soil and as a result it is possible for a squirrel to dislodge it while digging.

And no, I don't have a gun so shooting at it is out of the question. Besides I never catch the little varmit doing it.

I use Cayenne red pepper sprinkle it lightly around. Seems to deter them, and isn't harmful to those pesky little relatives of the rat.

This too will pass as soon as he is finished stashing his winter food. It will not hurt the sod, try to be patient and just pat it back down again.
We need to remember that we have moved into nature's livingroom and space is tight in some places. The poor fellow is obviously short on storage space. So try to look at the cute side and go along with sharing some space with him. Surely it is better to have him than to live in a world with no wild critters?

Well, you can do a couple of things. You can try to attract to a different area (such as the gutter) by leaving food, but the problem with that is that in a way, even thought it encourages it away from your sod, also encourages it to stay in your area and you don't want that. If you don't want to shoot it, and you can't find someone else who will. I suggest you hire someone to get rid of it, I'm sure there's an animal control that does that sort of thing.

Get information, first. Did you deliver a pattern of the noodles for your vet? Did you vet run any exams to verify the presence of antifreeze contained in the canines, or contained in the poisoned nutrition? Any type of documentation from the vet will function information, also take pictures of the holes (in case you have not crammed them in) and any last poisoned nutrition that's on your backyard. contact nearby regulation enforcement and word in case you'll get him on cruelty prices, or destruction of non-public property, or some thing. And get a criminal professional and sue the pants off him. in my view, i'd also imagine about transferring. i'd also imagine about doing a large kind of vengeful and nasty stuff to this guy, yet i will chorus from suggesting unlawful activities in a public talk board....maximum acceptable to adhere to the regulation lest some thing come and chew you contained in the butt later. Sorry to hearken to about your canines....what a foul creep your neighbor should be. :(
