after taking a vaccination (injection) is it ok to consume alcohol/beer the same day? or tell me what amount of time should one wait for consuming alcohol to be safe? are they both related? i think injections are through veins and alcohol mixes through blood,so they should be independent of each other?kindly clarify.(in my case iam 26 yrs old man and i had taken the third dose of Hepatitis-B vaccine at 1400 hrs today.)

From my own over-vaccinated opinion i believe that ones that cause side effects, ie. Influenza or smallpox shouldn't be mixed with drinking. This is only based on that you already are gonna feel like crap from them, why add a hangover.

But ones that have no side effects alcohol doesn't seem to have any effect.

And yes i drank after my own hep-b shot and was no worse for the wear.

Also remember that shots that have side effects or things not to do after........they tell you what not to do.

Hello there !
It depends upon the type of vaccination !
But by theoretical rule, better avoid..!
If it is killed vaccine, like HB vaccine, nothing much will happen..but why take the risk, boss ?
Cant you avoid it for 72 hours ?

You should do one or another - not both. You can either drink hard stuff and that kills the virus, or get a shot but don't drink.
If you do both - the virus's death would be very cruel and painful.
Animal rights activists can get you for that! -)

I think you'll be OK as long as it does not have any Tylenol in it. You probably won't enjoy that beer as much being sick though.

I wouldn't recommend it, depending on the drug, side affects can be minor to serious. As for your stuff, I don't know.
