It depends on just how much faster you want. If you want another 10 hp, maybe a little more, go with the basic "breathing mods" - cold air intake, performance header, and a cat-back exhaust.

Want a bigger kick? Nitrous can give you 50 more hp, but once the bottle's empty the fun is over.

Is that a Civic DX, CX, or LX? If so, installing the intake manifold from a Civic EX will give you a little bit more power.

If you want big power gains - 50+ hp - and you want that power to be there any time you need it, don't do the mods I have listed above. Instead, save your money and go straight for an engine swap or a turbo kit, because you won't get that power with easy, minor bolt ons. You may be able to re-use a few of the mods - the manifold swap trick will work for a turbo kit, and you can probably keep the exhaust - but it's often best to start with the big mod and then buy the rest of the parts to match it.

Here's a few ways...

1. Drive it off a cliff.

2. Push it off a cliff.

3. Shoot it out of a cannon.

4. Shoot it WITH a cannon.

5. Drive it down a hill.

6. Attach a rocket to it.

7. Attach a rocket to it and shoot it down a hill that's facing towards a cliff.

or......

You can buy a car that has the potential to go faster than 75 mph without modifications to it.

THAT would make it faster.

1. Reduce some weight. Take the rear seat off, carpet, etc. You will surprise how heavy they are.

2. If you are gonna drag race, turn off head-lights, car audio, etc. Let maximum possibility amount of juice from battery go to coil.

3. Of course no A/C, but roll up all the windows for better aerodynamic.

4. If it is a 5sp model, then keep it in Neutral until a moment before shoot out. That will make a clutch cooler and produce better grab.

All of above cost you $0, but make your car faster.

The 1.8L Integra type R engine will fit in with very little hastle, with just some adjustment to the powersteering pump required, This will give 200hp or so, 0-60 in under 6secs however it could be costly to buy an engine and get it fitted and tuned!

Well, you could drive it off The Grand Canyon and eventually you'd reach terminal velocity! Or you could just leave it in the parking lot and be satisfied that the car, and everything else on earth, is moving about 1040Mph.

Pull out everything that isn't needed inside the car (seats, etc.). Less weight will make it go faster. Or you could go on a diet....
