Its a muscle relaxant, sometimes used to help people relax and get to sleep. Very relaxed smooth feeling, if your tired already it may put you to sleep. No alcohol or the very relaxed feeling could be permanent.

I was given a generic soma prescription. I don't think my body knows what to do with it. So my experience probably won't be like others.
What it did to me was make me feel like I took a spleeping pill, only less relaxed in the cheeks on my face. That is, it kind of gave me a funny feeling, much like your typical over the counter sleeping pill, only less. I stopped taking them because I did not trust the doctor. I have been to another doctor that didn't waste my time with pills.

It makes you feel kinda sleepy and relaxed. You just want to lay around and do nothing. But if it's not prescribed for you,then u shouldn't really take it. But then again, who am I to say?
