I want to get rid of the fender on my Katana. How much does it cost to get that done?

They cost anywhere from $100-200. They really aren't that hard to do yourself if you've got a little ability and some patience. Not sure about your Katana, but you may have to cut the existing fender off. If you do (and the kit you buy will tell you), the best way is to get an old knife and heat it up with a torch. It will melt through the old fender and leave nice smooth cuts. I did this on my old YZF600 in about an hour. I have purchased 3 fender eliminator kits for Competition Werkes and all look great. Check out their website at www.competitionwerkes.com. Shop around a little on other sites for the best price.

Fender eliminator kits run about $150 not including labor to install.
Add about 1 hr of labor.
