Why did it take 29 days for the EU to send support to Lebanon?
Why doesn't the self rightious EU send aid Africa?
Why does the EU depend on the US's funding of NATO instead of paying the costs by themselves?
Why does the EU allow countries such as France and Germany practice racism against the Turkish and Muslim populations with in their countries?
Do you want more?

Well...there is an argument that this is true. Its human rights record is not very good but what compounds the issue is the position that is not accountable to anyone in particular one can reference the fairly recent vetoing of the ICC - which in essence allows its troops to operate anywhere and do anything with impunity (apart from facing court martial if caught and judged to have done badly enough to merit any time / energy etc). It is also worrying that in order to strong-arm people into the curious notion of War on Terror (yep go check those initial brave nations who signed up to on pain of losing substantial aid) included allowing President Putin to claim that Chechnya was a terrorist problem and if the US would oblige in turning a blind eye to their crimes against humanity then he would support Bush however he wanted...one would also reference the unblinking support for Israel vetoing pretty much every UN resolution anyone has ever tried to pass that is critical of Israel and allowing the recent severe overreaction to the kidnapping of 2 Israeli soliders with a full blown war and hundreds of dead in Lebanon (mostly civilians) which is in clear violation of proportionate response. We shan't mention the toppling of democratically elected govts in places such as Nicaragua; the aiding of dictators like Saddam Hussain; the arming of nations; the sale of arms to rogue states etc...but in short it would be fair to say that the track record is worrying....

The very fact that you can ask such a question for all the world to see, says a whole lot, doesn't it? The source for your information must be the likes of Michael Moore. The only reason there is an EU, nearly free of Nazis, is because our young soldiers died for their freedom. President Bush is a thoroughly good man and is doing every thing in his power to maintain freedoms and a good life for pitifully informed citizens who would be the first to scream for his help, and the last to defend that freedom. You go right ahead and spread the line that the terrorists do so love. The rest of us will defend your right to say it!

You are quite right that the US would fail the qualifications for UE entry.
The US prison system alone would disqualify it. These extreme examples you give are a little overstated but valid bar the comment about killing children. I don't know where you got that from (perhaps you got confused with Lebanon which was only indirectly America's responsibility).

First the US doesn't wanna be in the EUUUUUUUUUU. Second as far as the Death Penalty goes it's an EYE for an EYE. You Kill someone you should DIE yourself. What second chance did the VICTIM get? As far as the Muslims go. What do you consider them beheading to be? a Nice friendly gesture? And the US Military does NOT Kill Innocent Children. Yes we have had some instances were our troops have crossed the line and Yes they will be punished if convicted. HEY aren't you glad we have the DEATH Penalty. So take your EUUUUUUUUUU and Stick it where the Sun Never shines.
America sends our BEST wishes and tells you to Kiss our American %$@#

If the US was in Europe it would rule the EU. Don't forget that the CIA's secret prisons are in Europe because they would not be able to treat the prisoners the way they deserve here on US soil. The ACLU would want to protect them!
We should treat the Muslims the way they treat us.

I would be proud beyond belief not to be allowed to join the EU. That left wing totalitarian regime should be wiped off the face of the earth.

Why the hell would we ever want to be part of the EU? It's kind of like Europe created its own glass ceiling.
The death penalty is fine for those deserving (terrorists).
Islam - the religion that kills children, and anyone else who is arbitrarily deemed an enemy of Islam, including the 50 muslims who die in the bomb blast that kills 2 US or NATO soldiers??? WTF.
