hallo,
I haven't played a hunter but I do know quite a lot of them....
your pet is your own chose.. if you want a pet that can take damage then you best pick a pet with high armor (bear of turtles or that kind of animals) if you want a pet that do a lot of damage then you best pick a pet that is fast (cat, raptor, that kind of animals).
best thing you can do is try every animal you think that can be use full (all have different ability's).
you asked it honered is high .. well at lvl 19 yes .
there are 4 levels in the rep bar
friendly
honered
exalted
revered (highest)
to get revered you must be grinding like hell or be a lot in that area (for example the higher lvl instances gives rep to a certain faction)
the best way to get money at lvl 19 is just to do quest and kill lot's of enemy's (as a hunter that isn't much of a problem.

Hey man, I have played an alliance hunter to level 54. You should have a pet that will compliment your playing style. There are many to choose from. Also, check out my Totally Free World of Warcraft Guides to get more information on how to make gold quickly. http://www.freewarcraftguides.com

Keep two pets, spend the 5 silver on the extra stable slot, first get a cat/raptor this will be your PvP pet if you ever decide to PvP. Then Train a pet for grinding/questing I suggest either a turtle or a bear, both have high armor and HP. Remember to take them both out for XP just switch them out, don't just leave one in the stable because it won't level or gain any loyalty.

You should have a pet that will compliment your play style.
Experiment with different animals, and look it up on Thottbot.com
A good way to make gold is by using your profession for it.
Like as a tailor, find an area to farm for material to make bags. then sell them.
As a miner, just sell all the bars you make, etc.

Beast mastery is solid on your puppy (no longer in basic terms therapeutic, yet each and each and every of the puppy buffs, and so on), yet i detect it a touch bulky myself. I choose going for the marksmanship tree, and growing to be a longrange killing device.
