Express to him how you really feel. If after that he still wants to get a bike, then Yes you should be supportive of his decision. Even after he purchases the bike, still express your fears to him and at least ask him (for yours and his sake) to please follow all the safety precautions. Nagging him about it won't do any good. Just keep reminding him of how you feel and hopefully he'll take that into consideration.

Of course you should be supportive of him. You are allowed to be scared of this, but you should not tell him what he can and can not do. He is still his own person and needs to live his life the way he wants. You telling him he can't do things that are dangerous isn't going to keep him safe. There are just too many things that can happen in this world that are out of our control. Everyone must live their life to the fullest. If he cares about your feelings maybe he will take a safety course or something to help you feel better about the whole thing.

Talk him out of it. That's as supportive as you can get. I laid a dirtbike down once doing 10 mph and tore myself up. It offers little protection, esp since bikes are relatively "invisible" to car drivers. It's not just about whether he can drive safely. I can't count how many times a car has ran me off the road.

Support is now your middle name. Being a good partner means supporting even when you don't agree with something they are doing. Speak your peace to him, but then let it go. He is his own person and will do what he chooses. He will thank you for saying how you feel and he won't feel like you are telling him what to do.

Be supportive or you might see your ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend go ridding by on a motorcycle.

Ask him if it's really worth it. Would you wrather look cool and get killed or think and stay alive? Motorcicles are dangerous and even with a helmet you can be killed. If he wants to get one then you can't stop him but make sure he knows the risks he's taking by doing this. If he gets hurt or kiled, remeber it wasn't your fault.

Be supportive! Start riding it with him! My husband has a harley and I was alittle scared at first but then I started riding with him and we had lots of fun! NOW I have my own Harley! I ride it everywhere! I love it! Give it a chance! Be supportive, he needs that!
