If your cat really is dead, my condolences. anyway, unless you enjoy going for a midnight snack in the dark and having a coronary because there's an animal in the darkness, i wouldn't suggest it. also, there's a symbolic pain whenever you see your former beloved pet. it invokes sadness even long afterwards. i'd suggest burial or cremation. taxidermy also makes your pet look like a hunting trophy.

My Mom wanted to do that with our cats. I would be creeped out by a freeze dried cat staring at me.
