I am considering getting a 2nd Master's degree in Counseling and I am considering the following schools/programs. If anyone has any direct knowledge of these programs, please give your opinion. You can also comment on the school's reputation, though I am already somewhat familiar with the various schools reputations in academia. Thank you.

Seton Hall University - MA Counseling
New York University (Steinhardt) - MA Counseling
Nova Southeastern - MS Counseling with ABA certification
Cal State Fullerton - MS Counseling

OR, you can recommend a school/program that you have completed that you think is better!

I got my M.A. in counseling and afterward wished I had done the MSW so that I could be reimbursed by insurance for seeing clients. I also think that degree oftens a more intense experience and prepares you better to see clients

i just graduated from NYU's program, and I dont know if I recommend it. it's *very* expensive, I didn't find it challenging, and now i can't find a job in the field. It's also very heavily psychoanalytic which i didn't really like. I dont know anything about other programs, but my advice is don't go to NYU just because of the name of the school, the program is not highly ranked, and its not very competitive.

Are you planning to go on campus, or on line? Either way, I would stay away from the left coast, unless you live there. In which case, I will pray for you. I have heard good bout Seton Hall.
