I never knew my Mom's Mom. She passed when my Mom was only 20 years old. My Mom's Dad passed 13 years ago. My Dad's Dad passed when I was two. My Dad's Mom passed 10 years ago.

My Husband's Grandma....She's 92 and sharp as a tack! She can tell you all about growing up on the farm, when she was five, how much a loaf of bread cost in 1925, etc. She even wrote a book, and allowed one of her kids to video tape her, and then gave those books and videos to her grandkids as Christmas gifts. She, too, crochets, sews, volunteers at St. Vincent de Paul, gardens and pulls her own weeds, and mows and shovels her own front lawn (she has a neighbor do the back) I don't know how she does it all!

All mine are still alive, I'm 18. I have three sets because my mother parents divorced many years ago, and both remarried. That is a really good thing when it comes to Christmas, and birthday presents. They are:
Mother's father: 69
Mother's mother: 65
Dad's mother: 67
Dad's father: 67

My dad's mother's mother just died, she was 89. I have no more great grandparents left.

I am a grand-orphan, since 1988. Had my last grandparent for 94 years, wanted him to see 100, but....

Get all of her stories recorded! She is your legacy! Put her on video tape, take lotsa pics and enjoy her to the FULLEST!

My best to you!

Unfortunately, no. The last surviving one died last year in May. She was 93. Great physical health but was miserable in the last 8 years of her life dealing with Alzheimer's.

I miss his every day.

Well unfortunatley no actually I never met them. When I was born they had already passed. Don't know how it feels to have grandparents. It makes me sad that I never called any one gramma or grandpa.
