Sometimes when the Ipod is changing songs there's a slight and quiet clicking noise, it doesn't sound like a problem and might just be what happens when songs change. Anyone know what it is and if it's normal?

If you have one of the hard drive based iPods, the read/write had will make a slight noise as it jumps from one track to the next, especially if the jump is from the inside of the platter to the outside or vise versa, but it should barely be noticeable. Since you say it happens 'sometimes' and is slight, it probably isn't a problem. If you've got one of the flash based iPods (Shuffle or Nano) then it shouldn't make any noise between songs.

Hi - the sound is due to the latch mechanism controlling the arm/head on the internal Hard drive inside the IPOD. This is fairly standard, but if its too loud, noticeably, then there may be a slight fault. But failry quiet clicking noise is to be expected.

It's normal if it's been there from the begining and not getting louder or more frequent. If it's something new, it could be a problem with the hard drive.

Its a setting that you can turn on or off. If you don't like it go to your settings menu and turn it off.
