Most certainly! It all starts with a thought. First you think a certain way and then you start to believe it to be true and then it manifests itself. That goes for negative things as well as positive.
The mind is extremely powerful. Once you project the energy (thought )its out there. This universe is very mistical and has alot to offer if only we people would learn to to use our heads.
Even the bible teaches this. It says if only you had the faith to move a mountain you could.

Actually, when I was very young, I used to imagine that, if I could visualize a bad outcome vividly (failed a test, for example), that would prevent the undesirable outcome from happening.
Kind of the reverse of what you have in mind.

Yes and also for the worse..The power of our minds has only barely been measured since we supposedly only use about 1 % of our brains actual capacity..Who really knows what we can, could, or used to be able to do?
