I'm planning to move to Mexico in a few years, and want to spend my vacations improving my Spanish (it's fair now, but very rusty), and exploring the Yucatan for places I might like to live. I want to start in May next year. I'm looking for someone who with first-hand experience of a short-term language program in or near Merida that serves adults.

You would probably like the Spanish Institute of Merida. They have a website where you can get the costs and schedules and all. You can stay with a host family too and it does not even cost that much. Good luck!
