Chris Benoit is expected to return to the road this weekend with the Smackdown house shows. He is scheduled to start this Saturday, September 9, at a house show in West Palm Beach, Florida. Benoit hasnt been on the road or on television since June when he left after being "injured" in storyline by Mark Henry. The official reason he left was because of his wife, Nancy (the former Woman character), who was in need of neck fusion surgery. He was also rumored to be upset that his planned match with Dean Malenko at ECW One Night Stand was cancelled. In any event Benoit is expected to be back on the road this weekend, no word if he will be on Smackdown this week however.

To be honest with you zorro, Chris Benoit should fued with Sylvester Terkay, this will be a big match given there technical skills, Its a toss up who would win

i reckon that a benoit/edge feud would be good, if benoit went to raw or edge to smackdown. edge is good at being on top, and to be honest, technically quite sound, whereas benoit is the most technically-pure wrestler i have seen in recent years, maybe ever. up there with breat hart, owen hart, shawn michaels and HHH.

He may be the best wrestler ever
And he has been really underused and underrated.
If they dont use him well as soon as he returns, WWE might run the same problem they did with jericho & Christian who got fed up and left.

I think he should go after Big Show in ECW. Then he could get that Championship & ECW gets main-event talent.
