My friends say that they're too old to go clubbing and they're only 27. To me there's no age that a person is "too old" to go clubbing. If you're still having fun and have good places to go to, then why stop.

I don't think there is an age when you're too old, if you like it, do it!

Too old for clubbing.. hmmm.. well that all depends where you are clubbing at and your place in life. People over 25 should never go to a "18+ Club".. Going to a club that has people your age in it is vital. I say as long as you dont go out every night and go into work drunk every am then clubbing once in awhile is fun. Dancing it up is a great workout too. If your friends feel they have "outgrown" the scene, dont force them to go. Try to start a new fun thing for you all to do together.

I'm only 28 and I got burned out on clubbing when I was 24. It's not an age thing It's a mentality. Some people just stop seeing the fun in it.
Maybe it's just here but people who 'club hop' tend to have a certain short term attention span and the people you meet there are all well versed in which ever game they choose to play.

No there is no age where you are too old to go clubbing. But as you get older you need to find a club that caters to your age. If you are 40, you won't want to hang out in a club where 21 year olds, out for the first time in their life, frequents the club, because it's a different atmosphere. And face it, you don't want to be the "old guy" in the club. That's just creepy!

I agree there is no age limit people should be able to have fun at any age. The only thing I dont like is people who out at a club where everyone is half their age and they are trying to pick up someone. Thats disgusting!

around 30-35 seems to old to be hitting the club. That crowd and older could pass to an age suitable place they had be greater delicate in.... cigar/martini bars, lounges, dinners with buddies, social gatherings with married couples so as that they might get presented the old school thank you to a companion. club sort bars are lame anyhow as quickly as you're over 25. Who needs to experience like the old individual in a room crammed with 21 twelve months olds? no longer me.

I dont think 27 is too old... I think it gets weird to everyone when your in your mid 30's and up... Then its a little strange, but i go out all the time and quite a few of my friends are between 26-29 and we all have a blast! I think its all about how old you feel... and in some cases when you know the lady dancing behind you is at least 50... then you may feel young but you arent that young...

I don't think there is an age, but most of us come to a point where you realize that those skanky youngsters grinding on the dance floor used to be you, and you don't find it so appealing, it's kind of sickening to watch. I found after i settled down i had no real interest in clubbing, especially if my husband wasn't there it left me feeling lonely. Maybe your friends are just tired of the scene, they may stumble on to another more suitable spot .

I don't think you can be to old. You just have to go to age appropriate clubs. Maybe 25 and older clubs.

perhaps they mean they are too old to have fun clubbing

perhaps they mean that a little maturity can reveal the typical clubbing experience as tawdry and pointless

so, no, there is no "age" that people are too old to go clubbing
but I believe there is a "maturity" at which people are too old to enjoy clubbing
