Hi all. I'm having a problem with my roommate. He doesn't hardly do anything, sleeps all day, and plays video games all night. Now, I live with him and my boyfriend, and we have this chart to designate who does chores next. It was my turn to do dishes, but me and my bf both work and go to school, so I was running alittle behind. I made it clear I would do them when I got off work. Well, I was tired so I sat down for a while. But he comes down the stairs and starts complaining to me about the dishes not being done. I snapped, telling him I'm not stupid and that I would do them after I've rested. And he gets REALLY mad. He starts telling me he's going to come over and slam my computer down on my fingers and make me get up to do the dishes. And this isn't the first time he's said something like that either. I've had enough of his childish attitude! We're all on a year long lease right now, but I want to move or I want him out of my house!!! He's ruining my life! What can I do? Help!

Whose name is on the lease... if his name is NOT on the lease, I'd kick his butt out!! If his name is on the lease, you may have a problem (unless you are not on the lease.) If you're not on the lease, then move out!
Talk to the leasing office and see what they say too!

You move out, get a place of your own. There's always room for some sacrifice, in this case, you relinquish the place to him for the sake of the good times of your friendship.
