The original was sung by Little Eva in the 1960s. The song was written by Carole King and Jerry Goffin (King's husband) and Little Eva was the couple's housekeeper! "Locomotion" was a hit again in the mid-1970s for Grand Funk Railroad.

Originally Little Eva in 1962, covered by Kylie Minogue in 1988.

However, there was a different song called "Locomotion" in 1984 by Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark.
