How do you know that the farmers did it? Maybe it's those crazy crop circle guys from outer space. The reason they made all those crop circles is that they were stomping all over the place looking for tires to paint. You know how farmers are, they just take them off and throw them as far into the weeds as they can so their wife can't see them, then go milk a cow or something. Have you ever seen the look on a woman's face when some idiot tells her that she can't have a new whatever, because he just paid 200 dollars for a new tire, because he ran over something else he threw in the weeds to hide from her the last time she couldn't have a new whatever she wanted.

They use the tyres to press down on silage, which will be wrapped in plastic covered in molasses and left to ferment, they paint them white because this may discourage crows from pecking through the plastic to eat the silage but especially the molasses. Once the silage has fermented they feed it to cattle in the winter.
I'm not making this up strange as it may sound, I live in a country area
