Both the cars are priced similarly. The SRV is a handsome car.It is meant to be a sporty car whose owners want decent performance and striking looks even if it is at the cost of practicality. Even GM is not expecting it to sell in huge volumes. It is essentially an optra without a boot and a smiling nose(smiling too much?). The Optra is for the style concious who can do without a boot.
The City on the other hand is for the family and is meant to be practical, spacious, fuel-efficient and easy to drive. Looks come second to practicality but Honda has managed to make the City look futuristic which appealed to many Indians. The City with its reliability, ease of driving, spaciuos interiors, good rear seat, fuel- efficiency, ride and a cavernous boot will still appeal to the masses who consider the Honda badge to be associated with latest if not futuristic technology.

Chevy is hurting. Ford is eating their asses. They need to come up with something fast. Note: They only have the Corvette and that's it.
