if you want movies to rent here's what i like:
1 Star Wars
2 Indiana Jones
3 Back to the Future
4 Bring It On (cheerleader)
5 The Wizard( Not the Wizard of Oz)
6 Joshua
7 Garfield
8 Tron
9 Catch Me If You Can
10 The Pacifier
These are my top ten movies I like. These movies are rated G, PG, and PG-13, none are rated R. Hope this helps.

Cinderella Man was good, a boxing movie!
American History X is a great older movie as someone said, but I'm sure it is rated R, there is brief nudity and lots of violence! Bad *** movie though!

Too bad - - there is a movie called "After Hours" with Griffin Dunn. It's rated R tho - - but by todays standards would probably be PG13.
Directed by Martin Scorcese....circa 1980's.
Damn near laughed myself crazy...

It does depend on your taste in movies a bit, but i have seen some really good ones. American History X is a shocking, but amazing movie with a message. I do not remember if it is R or not though.

there's a fantastic movie called "Millions" out there somewhere. It's British, but it definitely has a certain American sensibility, it's a lot of fun, and it's actually about something
