Yes, because his supporters have behaved in a stupid way this week, and with Charles Clark kicking off like he has over the last few hours it's getting serious fro Brown.

There will now be a bloody campaign until nominations close, then a serious debate about the future of the labour party, but alas probably not a fourth term labour government, which means the return to despair under a sleezy Tory government.

Gordon "Tax E,m" Brown is an enemy of the country , he has dragged this country in a state of being "Overtaxed" at every point of our existence , the continual Bullshit that he has been a "Great Success" as a Chancellor is Rubbish , He has stolen the nations Pensions and Billions in Stealth Taxes and continues to do so on a daily basis . He is like an Alcoholic let loose in a brewery , with his non stop Tax , Tax and more Tax actions , with Billions being wasted , causing massive distress to the whole nation .

Hard to say. It seems he has no choice but to tow the line of Tony Blair for the time being! But to be a Prime Minister of that country, he has to be a shrewd politician, which he is apparently so, and like a professional soldier, he has to retreat and then launch another attack!

Anyway, time will prove if he has the space and courage to do and achieve what he wants as maybe there are others too aspiring for that coveted position!

Yes I think so. I think we shall see John Reid challenging him for the leadership and destroying Brown's credibility. Then there will be an internecine war in the Labour Party for over all control, leading to a disastrous defeat at the general election.
