It was a huge let down. Miami was playing strong until halfway through the 4th...that was pathetic...I had Miami to win the AFC East but if they play like that in the 4th quarter :| I dunno, they're on the edge but I'll still say they take it.

Good game. Had drama and wasn't really decided till the last few minutes. The Steelers showed why they are one of the favorites this year too. Even without Big Ben, they managed to do everything they wanted to do offensively and the defense did their job as usual (remember the Dolphins only had a couple good drives, one of their two TDs was set up by a huge punt return).
The Steelers offense looked good. They would have had even more point if they had made the field goal. Not to mention the huge 8 minute drive that would have gotten them TD if not for the bad snap/fumble on 1st and goal from the 2. The big 87 yard pass to Miller was out of bounds but they would have had the ball first and goal at the 1 yard line. And yes, it was a bad call, but so was the huge pass interefernce no-call on 3rd down that would have kept a Steelers drive going in the 2nd Q. So please, unless your last name is Holmgren, no more whining about the refs (Holmgren can do it since he really can't do much else... except eat!)

It was a good game ~ I am glad Miami brought us a game.
Miller was definitely out of bounds ~ Miami's coach should have been more aggressive in his flag throwing.
Bitchin about the refs???? Give me a break if the refs screwed anyone it was Hines Ward that was blatant pass interference.
Once Batch got into his zone he looked good which gives all Steeler fans a sigh of relief, if Ben is out for a couple of games we know Charlie can handle it.
The other day I asked if fans of other teams were afraid of Troy & Joey ~ an int for each & a TD for Porter BEAUTY!
It was a great game

It was a good game. It had a bit of everything in it. It started off like is was going to be a low scoring, ugly defensive game, then came the big plays, a couple of missed calls by the refs and a loud and raucous stadium.
Not bad for a season opener.

World Championship Steelers at their best even without Big Ben.
That was not a touchdown.

Ref was at there best. It's getting to be more of a ref game then a football games.
