Toothpaste does not remove acne. If not, only worsen the situation. It can cause temporary redness and swelling but it doesn't take away acne permanently although it might appear to.
You'd be better off with some other solution, like your own saliva!

Excuse me? Tooth paste? Do you mean toothpaste? The stuff you brush your teeth with? It's meant to be rinsed off...swallowing it isn't healthy so you wouldn't want to rub it on your teeth and then be done...
Do you not brush or is toothpaste not available in your country...or are you talking about something completely different?

I brush my teeth, spit out the toothpaste, and wash off my toothbrush, so I guess I take it off.

O.K. I'm a dental hygienist and I can answer this. All of the other answers are just perfect, and I can't add anything to them.

Haha...oh wow...you must be bored...but I'll humor you.
*ahem...*
...after you have finished brushing your teeth, rinse your mouth out with water, which will wash the excess toothpaste out of your mouth. So, to sum up, you take it off--using water to rinse. :) Have fun, kid.
