People bashing the president, the liberals, the conservatives, and acting against all things decent. The slander, the obscenities, the name calling, the hate mongering.

I can understand when someone goes off once or twice, but some wackos are constantly spamming Answers with hate!

I have found, that you can pull up a list of all their questions and answers , and report each and every one of their abuses!

This works a lot better if EVERYONE were to look up all the wacko's previous questions and answers, and report all of the wackos' abuses.

Pretty soon, their points drop really really low, and Yahoo! answers may even drop their ID.

Don't use abuse reporting as a weapon against freedom of expression, only report real abuses fairly and honestly.

God Bless America, and God Bless Freedom of Speech!

There's a difference between hate-mongering just to hear yourself scream and specific bashing to make a point.

I bash Bush for his criminal actions, to make a specific point. I don't insult his parents, or call him stupid names, or make fun of his hairline. I point out what federal laws he has broken, as a way to point out that we have a career criminal in office who is harming this country. And I limit my responses to answering the relevant questions. I consider that different than mindless rhetoric.

I agree that pointless ranting and slander don't help anything. But the only real solution is to ignore them. We've seen people banished from the site, only to create a new alias and come back with the same mindless rhetoric.

As long as we given them attention, as long as we answer their questions, or respond to their posts, or even report them -- as long as we given them attention they will keep coming back. The only working solution is to ignore them.

Abso-freaking-lutely!!!

By the way, anyone who thinks they have freedom of speech on Yahoo! Answers is sorely mistaken. Yahoo! Answers is a private domain that contains a set of terms and conditions under which you may use the domain. You voluntarily agreed to these terms and conditions being placed upon yourself in order to use the domain and as such you are not entitled to free speech. The terms may be very loose so as to allow some semblance of free speech, but do not be mistaken.

Yahoo attracts skull challenged who thrive operating in route of opposite Darwinism to the point of being too stupid to comprehend how ignorant they sound. Why do you imagine Yahoo killed their chat rooms. similar-similar. all of us see an outstanding properly idea out mature question being answered with the help of organic stupidity. Or questions that typically sound like they got here out of a 10 365 days previous feebly pretending to be an human being even as in reality they're adults who can no longer help themselves coming in the technique like a 10 365 days previous. and also you ask your self why colleges are importing severe college graduates from different countries.

Hey, that is what freedom of speech is all about. It beats running with rifles and RPGs through the streets.
