What kind of bait do perch, bluegill, and crappie pick up on?

What kind of bait do perch, bluegill, and crappie pick up on?

Someone told me that perch can be lured with small worms such as bloodworms (I think). Not sure about crappie, though. Any suggestions because my dad and I like to fish and this kind of info. would be helpful.

Not sure about bluegill though.

I've always had good results with nightcrawlers and minnows.
The size of the hook seems to be the major factor...small hooks for small fish.

Blood worms are good for all those...at least where i fish.
