I only really knew their hits, until this most recent album, "Taking the Long Way".

This is the first Dixie Chicks I've ever bought, and I did it to show support for them. I think it has some powerful songs on it reacting to the unwarranted backlash they received a few years ago.

It's still in heavy rotation on my playlist.

CW aint my thing. So I never liked them. They are easy on the eyes but wasn't interested in anything that came out of thier mouths before or after they did thier little publicity stunt.

The way they did what they did and comments they have made afterwards however left me with no respect for them. Opposing the war that's thier right and opinion. That's not what I thought was so bad. What is was the pandering to the audience. Think they'd said that to an American audience like that? They hid until they thought it was clear, attempted to broaden their audience by using a political gimic then cried when it backfired on them. Worse the truth then comes out from one of them that she didn't like the music they played LOL. So the whole time she's working in a genre she doesn't even like. She's a sell out from the start.

I also think they could have expressed themselves a bit more class and said what they wanted too. Shrug it's thier biz.

Here you go again trying to stir things up...the song Sinwagon stands out for me and it doesn't mean you have to love everything they do or own a pick-up truck (not that there is anything wrong with that). Natalie Maines was my only celebrity crush. She is taken so I had to move on....as a band I think they should concentrate on the studio and stage and forget about the celebrity circus. They won't : it helps sell records and they have bills to pay. I rambled..YES is my answer.

Surprisingly, yes. I saw them in concert with my wife, and I would say it was one of the three best concerts I ever attended. I like a lot off of FLY and Home.
