You can buy your own collapsable pole on ebay for around 100 bucks for the basic pole. it comes with an instruction video and i think also it has come coupons for more prducts the companies have. I know you can use it whereever you want and it comes with a money back guarantee (if damaged i believe) Check it out! Enjoy the exercise! I would say do it in the privacy of your own home though before you go try out amateur night at the local spot! (unless u are using it for personal reason...)

Do you mean for fun or to make a living? My daughter got a Carmen Electra DVD that teaches strip tease and pole dancing as exercise, but might be helpful as an instructional video.

I grew up arond the Md area,I'm from DC what's up?Anyways I don't know anything about the pole dancing though although Oprah had something on her show about it like two months ago and they have video tapes out that you can by at the video store or Wal-Mart.
