like eggs just laid by a chicken (within the last 24 hours, by a personal farm), or should i only eat store bought eggs??

Organic is always better for you anyway so I dont see why it would be a problem.

Eggs straight from the chicken are fine as long as they are cooked. Raw eggs are not okay unless they are pasturized (yes, they sell those at the grocery store and they're great for egg nog).

Pasteurized eggs are the recommended ones.

i think i will recommend pasteurized eggs because chickens also get sick. did you ever hear about bird flu.it is very dangerous.. congrats on the baby. i wish i was you...still have to wait a wile...

Fresh eggs are okay to consume. However, you shouldn't consume any raw eggs or anything raw.
