Hmmm, I don't know, have you asked your doctor? I have an IUD, but haven't had it taken out yet, so I can't tell you from experience. Doesn't sound normal though...sorry.

I would wait a few more weeks and the consult with the DR. where you on Mirena? if so that could be why there might be left over hormones that might be delaying your period. Did you get a period while on the IUD? Try a pregnancy test as you may become pregnant as soon as the IUD is removed

yes this is normal, but do advise your doctor if you go without your period for more that 2 months.
