I have a 1995 Ford Thunderbird, in which I am looking in putting another motor in. I found a 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis, thats wrecked, and the motor is still good in it. Both Motors are 4.6 V8. Will the motor from the Grand Marquis fit in my Thunderbird?

i believe your '95 t-bird has a 3.8L V6 son..
but luckily 3.8, 5.0, 4.6 all use same motor mounts.
in any case.. from that donor Marquis.. it'd be wise to get the entire front clip if you can.. motor, motor mounts, entire wiring harness, ecu, even transmission if possible.
this way you'll minimize the amount of tinkering time.
g'luck.

same motor It'll fit. But, these motors are bad about worn valve guides and they can get to smokin like crazy and they drink oil, that's why you want a late model engine. Ford got wise and revised the valve guides. oh crap that's too much rhymin.

You may have to change the intake manifold from your old engine and install it on the replacement because of the ECU differences.
