My new Ford Expedition sits under a large Oak tree. Starting about a month ago the car is covered with flies, bees and wasps, especially in areas directly under the tree. I can't park the SUV anywhere elso and I am afraid of getting stung. I don't see any nests or holes nearby. Does anyone know why this is happening and what should be done?

Hi there,
You should definately check under your car for a nest. I had a similar problem parking under a tree except they were hundreds of ants inside my car. They had created some colony under my front left tire. (In which case I used Terro to rid them). Another solution would be to go get a good wash and if you can and, don't park under any trees. Below is a link of someone also who had a similar problem parking near an oak tree. Hope that helps!

This might be the worst question I've ever seen. Nobody cares about your gas-guzzler. This isn't even close to the right category.

You bought an SUV so you obviously hate the environment, why don't you just burn the tree down?

I would light a bug coil and leave it on the hood of my vehicle. or set off one of those fumigation bombs under the tree to kill or scare all of the bees and flies.

Is there sap or something from the tree falling on the truck that might be attracting them?
