If things stayed the same as before the marriage then many more men would be happy to be married. It´s the women who want change and that brings resentment. Us men are what we are and you girlie's marry us and except us as we are until you get the ring on your finger. That triggers a personality change and you become the marriage equivalent of "changing rooms". The person you married needs "your" personality stamped all over him. Let us be ourselves and you would have a much happier marriage.

No, I don't believe they always regret getting married. It very much depends on people, and their marriage. Each marriage, like each person, is different from another. So it would be unfair to judge them all on same bases.
A lot of men I know have been happily married for years, and could not imagine their life without their wives. These are the people who have had a very companionable marriage. In this type of marriage, even as the years go by, and romance dies out, their feelings for each other are so deep, that their relationship survives the test of time.
But then there are others who do regret being married. Because they see it as being tied down. However, in many cases, these are the men whose loneliness is a problem that comes from within. They wish for "Freedom" that is only an illusion.
So in conclusion, it really depends on each person's individual case. And it would be fair to say that all men do not regret getting married, just as not all women enjoy it.

No not really as long as both parties agrees or share the problems at home and love of course everything always gone smooth .There is always a point what we call as misunderstanding, which every married men must overcome without shouting cursing ....well getting married is a sacred matrimony that's how I look at marriage but some ...just some take it for granted ....most of the time there were men and women who try to control each other do this and that which leads to nonsense relationships ...

I have been married 2 times and am engaged now, I have to say I regret the first 2 most definately, but I know I have found the right one for me now... the trick is to have a long engagement, it will provide all the answers you search for. The first 2 were quick lets get married... this time I told her we are not getting married for a few years and it has been a wonderful experience, It probably didn't hurt buying her the 3 carat solitare either.

An old (obviously did not end up with) boyfriend once told me that; "it is a woman's nature to own and a man's nature to be free." If you hear anything remotely close to that from a man - DO NOT MARRY HIM. Marriage is a two-way street and it's all about what the individual wants out of life and working together to make it work.
