This is just a weird pattern I've noticed. My husband likes anything I wear that is red -- lipsticks, skirts, a tee-shirt, underthings, etc. I never considered it my best color (my favorite color is "clearance"!), but it's okay on me. My question is why men like red? I'm not trying to generalize; I know many other men who like red, and not just hummingbirds. :- ) Do men subconsciously link red with something?

You might not believe my answer but there is an underlying psychological reason for the red desire. Woman wear lipstick(unknowingly) because it acsentuates the lips. The lips then appear to signal to a man arousment by the woman, because in the natural sex act the lips fill with blood to visually turn a man on. This also occurs in the genital area. Woman become "ready" for sex. A woman dressed in complete red(shoes, dress, panties, bra etc.) is more then good to go. Older woman wear red to recapture their youthful look and desire(unknowingly-mostly). Its all about the senses and the male -female rituals. Peace.

Red is considered "sexy" The colour red is very bold and it grabs attention. When a guy sees a woman wearing red it shows confidence and sex appeal. Guys like a woman who's not affraid to make a statement..
