I have iron in our well water and so it colors all our bathtubs. I've tried bleach and also something close to line-away to no avail. Any other suggestions aside from maybe getting a new bathtub?

Just use CLR (calcium, lime rust). You can get it at just about any grocery shop or hardware store. Obviously is helps remove calcium, lime and rust.

CLR is great ! I agree, also I would use Comet and a toilet brush Thats what I do!

I let it sit overnight after I scrub and the next morning I rinse away, easy!

I have used a scrub brush with soft scrub w/bleach to great success, give it a try.

I agree w/ the first answer. CLR works on hard water stains.
