You must be either very young or just plain stupid to think the Beatles are crap. The Beatles influenced alot of the bands out there today and I bet even U2 would have something good to say about the best band ever, The Beatles.

U2 would not be where they are today if not for the Beatles. U2 are great and i think it's awesome that they've taken their celebrity to do good things, maybe they are just following John Lennon's example. Listen to the beatles with an open mind, they are so diverse, you are bound to find something you like. They invented heavy metal (helter skelter). Know Your Roots.

They have done some great things (i.e. giving money to charity) but I can't stand their music.
I'd listen to The Beatles over U2 any day.

Bahh!!!!! Bono is a pompous *** and how big of an ego do you need to call yourself "The Edge"? U2 hasn't made a decent album since Rattle& Hum. They pretty much suck. I'd rather listen to Yoko Ono...let alone the Beatles!

since when has U2 been good? someone should rape you in the a** for saying that about the beatles. there is no "best band in the world." it's simply not possible. everyone has their own interests and tastes, and there are too many talented bands out there to name one as the best.
