Okay I'm black, white and among other things so I am pretty mixed, I look like a person who is half black and half white. I am pale. But see I am in to the goth subculture and I really don't have anyone in my family that is goth or really know about it as much as I do except for my uncle that is living in Japan right now and he as been a goth for 20 years or more. But yeah I am in the goth subculture and I've been in to it for about 5 years now and I'm not one of those pig headed poseurs. I know what it is all about. And it does not have to do with the devil in any way.

You sound HOT to me.....Having your own style in not weird at all. It makes you an individual and this world would suck if everyone was the same. Embrace your mixed up gorgeous goth self.

A middle aged goth? Cool! He must look like one of those Japanese cartoon characters. I'm an old beatnik. Do goths plunder these days, or do you just hang out in dark clothes and eye make up and startle blue collar folks? Actually we did that 50 years ago, and it was fun. Don't recall hearing the term "beatnik subculture" though. You'd be suprised at how many people of all ages have gone through the stage you and your uncle are in. And we never even connected our "hipness" with the devil. Cheers!

I know a young woman who is a "Goth".
She's such a cutie - but I'm not to say that or act like it round her. We have to frown a lot and be very stern in company or if there are strangers about. But when she feels her koolness will not be compromised she's just adorable. Really.
So no. I don't think you're weird at all. Or if you are, so is the rest of the world with all it's different ways of doing things.

people with interracial background are always a PLUS in the society because in a way you have better chance to acknowledge about cultures than others...
