A not so subtle combination of brainwashing, flattery and breasts.

Their readers are told exactly what they want to read. They are largely ignorant egotistical and stupid. The Sun will constantly tell them they are the best, most tolerant and the most wonderful form of humanity on the planet. then show them boobs. It tells them who to like, who to admire, who to look up to, who to hate, who to blame, so that they do not have to think for themselves and then shows them boobs.

They market to the stupid and are very good at it. Sadly, the stupid are a very large market.

I can see where ur comin from on this question cos The Sun is a kinda crappy paper, one look at some of their headlines (when there are much more important headline-worthy stories available) will tell u that. It sounds a snobby thing to say but it does seem to paint a frightening picture of British society, that fact that its the biggest sellin newspaper. Hope i dont offend anyone by sayin that.

because of page 3-even though the standard of journalism is piss poor and crap. oh and here's what bothers me: why do a lot of people buy the sun newspaper, despite the fact it is pro tony blair? yes its shocking but true. they love blair they really do, which is why the people who write for that newspaper ar a bunch of unintelligent twats. i read yesterday's editorial of The Sun and their praisal towards tony blair and i thought to myself what a load of shite! they don't even know what they are talking about. The Sun is an example of the frivalous, unadulterated, trival type of journalism we come to expect. proper cack, that's what it is.

It has a lot to do with the short formatted sentences with just a single idea in each; and the fact that it arouses its readers' popular prejudices. No content that requires deep thought or consideration.

Then there is page three.

All very simple and viable marketing technique!

The British nevertheless (besides the fact that at present are numbered) have the experience to understand that the solar and so on is capitalist/zionist propaganda. it is especially because of the fact of our proximity to the continent and a few remnants of the forged public coaching from approximately 30 years in the past... although our elite and our new middle classification are as completely morally degenerate as any finished-blooded American. the common public of the yank public are functionally illiterate besides as brutish and stupid. this is their illiteracy alongside with their slavishness and deference for their capitalist masters which makes them so risky. they even have faith those variety of lies you point out to be the gospel actuality (actually) because of the fact they have been taught for generations to co-relate the hobbies of their masters and betters with christian distinctive function. the placement isn't as undesirable in the united kingdom .. yet.. yet we are getting there.
