When I was a younger guy that used to bother me, and didnt know what to make of it. I know where your coming from. I realized(many years and a daughter later) that kids dont have a clue what there really doing. Their expressions and antics are just reactions to their immediate surroundings. Of course some kids (older ones) are mean, spiteful, and possibly wicked , which are the exceptions. Always give a light smile back, you never know what that child will do in life. Peace.

Anytime a little one smiles at you is a very good thing.

Especially when they are your own, or your grandchildren. (smile)

Personally, having little ones smile at me is a huge compliment and really warms my heart and brightens my day.
