today in my town gas prices dropped to $2.69/9 a gallon for regular unleaded and .10 increases for higher grades....i heard that gas prices are supposed to be at about $2/gal by thanksgiving!.....dream come true!.....anyone else heard about this?

Its an election year and the GOP is desperate. Since the oil companies are in bed with the GOP, they have decided to drop the cost of gasoline in order to boost flagging support for the Bush Regime.

Expect gasoline to shoot back to $3.00 a gallon and higher come January 2007 if the GOP wins.

Yes prices are dropping due to the end of the summer driving season when prices switch from gas to home heating fuel so expect a hit when the oil man comes to fill up the furnace.

I've noticed them lowering, and the radio has been reporting drops at stations in my city. I haven't heard that they'll go that low by Thanksgiving though. It's hard to predict the future, but if that's right - great!

Its 2.39 here in S.E OK and I heard on the news the other day that they drilled a well somewhere off the Gulf of Mexico and that they believe that it will produce like a billion barrels a day

i heard the same thing, 2 dollars by thanksgiving....but i have a feeling theres a downside to this... our lil monkey pres bush got something for us .

aint dropped in my area yet , as far as 2.00 a gallon you might need pinched , i think your dreaming
