Lets see - 1. Don't go to work. Go partying. Get spotted. Get fired. Can't afford to go out partying again for weeks.
or
2. Take your responsibilites seriously. Go to work. Earn the money to deserve to go out partying. Keep job safe. Have enough money coming in regularly because of work to be able to go out partying on non-work nights for the next 5 years.

I can imagine you wouldn't feel like going to work all of Friday night, but that's what you have signed a contract saying you will do. Go to work tonight but then try to find another job tommorow.

Arrange for a colleague on a different shift to cover your shift (maybe someone owes you?), check it's OK with your boss, then go out and party.

everyone on the odd occasion stays out of work to "recover" mentally, IF they go to work day in, day out or night in night out.
What you dont want to do is to regularly stay out of work. its disrespectful, these people might not be part of your dream job sort of people (your bosses) but they have employed you because u are fit and able, and as a result, they help pay your bills.
I have, on the odd occasion given myself a mental break when i felt in dire need of a "break" by taking the day off to recover, it does wonders but, if you can afford to spend money rather than make money, then go for it!

I work the night shift and weekends. Save your sick time or whatever and use it when something even better comes up. It doesn't look good with too many absences.
