because of the right winged religious idiots and the fact that ANYONE could grow and sell their own pot and the government wouldn't have the ability to track it and be able to tax the hell out of you for it !!!!
One more thing...........personally, i think alcohol is worse. I mean when is the last time you heard of someone smoking a joint and then driving and killing someone ??? We might drive a little slower but that's about it !!!

because the goverment wouldnt be able to tax on it and we all know that with out tax the goverment would go broke!
