I thought the Bush family financed Bin Laden?

If you were even half clued, you'd realize that back when money was changing hands, Bin Laden was a businessman in the middle east. He hadn't even issued his first fatwa, let alone one against the united states.

Don't get me wrong here - I'm not defending Bush or Bin Laden - they're both equally moronic in my book. What I'm really against is idiots on the Internet who draw completely uninformed parallels between things that are worlds apart.

Down with the poster.

I am not arguing with you, but what's your point? That Bush is unscrupulous and doesn't give a rat's rear about anything but himself and his fortune? We know that! Tell me more, if you can. And why do I have the feeling that Papa Bush is not at all proud of little Dubya? ( This should bring a few folks out of the wood work frothing at the mouth--LOL!)

Yes, but since Bush has almost always had ties to oil interests this is not as huge a coincidence as you may think.

In addition, the nature of families in predominantly Muslim regions usually generates huge families. Saying that Osama bin Laden's family funded Bush's first business is a bit like saying General Motors is trying to ruin Paris Hilton since she was driving one of their cars when she got her DUI.

Not a coincidence, Bush is an a-hole and i'm amazed that even with all the incriminating evidence he got voted in for a second term.

I'm sure George Bush would be dead by now if it was more than just a coincidence.
