To understand Polysexual you have to consider that the is more than two genders. Yes there are male and female, but the is also Male to Female Transgender, and Female to Male Transgender. There may also be others that i'm not thinking of. A Polysexual leaves options open for all of the above.

Polysexual,Omnisexual, Pansexual have almost identical meanings and just means that you are open to all sexual experiences. You don't label yourself as Hetero or Homo, and you keep an open mind about trying new sexual encounters outside of the norm, obvious examples would be threesome, orgies, fetish parties. Basically it means you don't have any orthodox hangups regarding sex, you are a free spirit.
