Book a flight on a private small prop airplane; a four seater...it is much cheaper than you might think (less than $200 for an hour or more). Make sure your pilot is amenable to letting your hubby fly the plane once the pilot gets her up to altitude. Let Hubby sit next to the pilot (usually secondary controls in the second front seat) and don't tell him about the pre-setup with the pilot. At altitude the pilot will ask if he wishes to take over. Hubby will be VERY HAPPY. This will create something much better than an object type of gift...it will create an indelible memory. Whatever you do afterwards will be an earmarked memory forever too, so you might want to plan a romantic dinner or something steamy for the bedroom. Good luck and have fun.

I think one year is "paper"... which I think refers to a card.
I don't think you ever go wrong with a beautiful home made dinner, atmosphere, music, flowers, a massage, and dessert.
You don't have to GET anything for him, (you can if you want), but you can do the same just by planning a really special day.
You could pick anything that shows you love him, want him to have something he'll enjoy, or do something he doesn't get to.
For instance, maybe he's been working a lot and putting off some relaxation... would he really enjoy a morning golf game with some friends? Or maybe a nice long massage like I mentioned, to work out those kinks. Or maybe his favorite music group is in town, or there's a big game at the dome.
Or you can focus on hobbies or memories that are key to you both - maybe art brought you together, maybe visit a new art exhibit?
(Most men enjoy food, drinks, electronics, sports, food, hardware, food, and a warm confident female body. *lol*)

Good question, mine is tomorrow, and I have no clue!
Well, we don't have all the money in the world, so what I did was I asked if my parents could watch our daughter. They agreed, so I went on Price line and found a really nice hotel that agreed to cost only $50 for the night in the area that I wanted...I figure that we will go to the restaurant where we met (I was a waitress there at the time) And have a nice dinner. I then went on EBay and got some really nice pieces of lingere for really cheap! I got them in the mail, and was really surprised to find how nice they really were, since I was kind of skeptical at first...not everyone can afford to go to Victoria's Secret, if you know what I mean...Well, that is all we are doing, hope this helps. And remember, men aren't always about gifts, we only think they are, because we enjoy them so much...LOL So, think about that when you think about stuff to do. He will probably enjoy a night out alone with you, then getting a gift, although gifts are always nice as well : )

1 year? Too soon. Just get naked and wrap a bow around the twins and spring up from a box. That would be the best 1 year gift. Trust me, after I got that gift the first year, its been my gift every anniversary.....and it is the perfect gift that can keep giving. :)

Paper is the traditional gift for 1 year. How about a nice card, and cooking him his favorite meal? (Of course, Lingerie is ALWAYS a good choice too!) Happy Anniversary!

The first anniversary is traditionally the "paper" anniversary. Why not write out a meaningful poem (of your own writing or not) in longhand hand have it framed for him.

I think you should make reservations somewhere nice. Go out and buy something sexy to wear for him and have some alone time. Maybe as a gift give him a massage. Hope you have a good time.
