Go to this site and enter your gas and electricity usage in the form and it will come up with suppliers which are cheaper than the one you already use.

Most Expensive are British Gas, so steer clear of them. Don't be fooled by their no rises ad crap. Powergen are also expensive so avoid. Scottish Southern (SSE for short) are the best and cheapest with electric, may be a little more on gas but the benefits of cheaper electric and excellent customer service outweigh the gas cost. Plus they have call centre in the UK which gives the absolute best customer service I have ever known. We moved to a property where british gas kept trying to charge of gas previous tenants used but they sorted this out, we were also pestered by them, we told SSE they stopped this too. Change to them now, but please don't worry about being pestered by your old company when you change, ignore those letters, change you will never regret it.

they are all pretty much the same but british gas is the most dearest. If you have gas and electric with the same company you get a discount and also if you set up direct debit, I would not advise the fixed price offers at the moment as in the news they are metioning gas and elcetric prises will be coming down soon. They can't get much higher,I am with powergen which give you tesco points awell which helps had bad experience with seeboard.

google it...you'll get like 2 billion entries. Apparently, they all are, as they all guarantee to be cheaper than anyone else, without actually telling you their pence per unit. its available, really small, in one of thier 87 different tarriffs, depending on your usage, which, like most people you've no fukn idea how many therms you use per quarter. By the law of diminishing returns, they cant all guarantee to be cheaper than everone else, or it'd be free. But they do. Then you get a letter,3 months later, saying while they are "still" the cheapest, and said prices wont go up, due to a wholesale price increase, they must pass this on, "reluctantly", so it doesnt really matter which of the robbing tykes you choose...go for the one with the lowest charge to call them for a query/fault, (5p/10p/20p min?) and the shortest time on hold at these prices. Of course its always a busy time to call, and an adviser will be with you shortly, hopefully before your credit runs out, remember, your call is important to them...In Revenue...(streamed music at 10p/min).

The cheapest and best value ALL THE TIME is this company. The more services you take the more cash back they give you too (upto £50.00) every year. I use their telephone, mobile, gas and electric services... been a customer for 3 years...
